The Albuquerque Artwalk serves as the heartbeat of New Mexico’s creative scene. By uniting artists and facilitating collaborations, our platform transforms the ABQ Arts & Cultural District into a block-by-block arts experience, bringing creativity directly to the community.

Through our monthly downtown event, we aim to support both local artists and businesses. Every ABQ Artwalk is an opportunity to celebrate New Mexico’s creative culture and provide space for businesses and creatives to engage with the local community and visitors of New Mexico.

Each month, we spotlight an artist previously featured with ABQ Artwalk. This month: Jeremy Montoya

Jeremy Montoya is a New Mexico-based illustrator, printmaker, and multimedia designer known for bold, detailed screenprinted posters. Inspired by wildlife, pop culture and surreal imagery, his work pairs vibrant color with a distinctive sense of place. He has created gig posters for artists including Animal Collective, Band of Horses, Jimmy Eat World and Coheed and Cambria. As well as limited-edition movie posters in collaboration with the Guild Cinema.
